Happy Meals Contain Box Cutters

Two mothers in Michigan recently reported finding box cutters instead of toys in their children's Happy Meals at a local McDonald's. The incidents occurred separately, with the first mother, Kayla Almashy, posting about the discovery on Facebook. She expressed concern about the potential harm that could have occurred if a younger child or a child with special needs had attempted to open the "toy." Another mother, Dawn Paret, shared a similar experience, stating that she demanded answers from McDonald's regarding the incident. While the box cutters were found before any harm was done, both mothers worried about what could have happened. McDonald's responded, saying they take the claims seriously and investigate the matter.
