Happy Ether Day

Ms. Carter will remember December 4th as the day she gave Jay Z, but many remember December 4th as the day Nas gave Jay Z death by releasing Ether.

Originally a noun, Nas transformed Ether into a verb and now the word is used to described the destruction of their opponent as in, 'you got ethered.'

The term Ether Day was born in the SOHH.com forums by the users and still continues to be said and celebrated to this today.
