Happy Birthday Chitrangda Singh!

Today is a day of celebration for Chitrangda Singh. It's her birthday! The gorgeous actor turns 38 years old today, March 28, and we are sure this year will bring her a lot of joy.

When Chitrangda entered the industry, she did it through offbeat cinema. The former model from Delhi turned actor with Sudhir Mishra's Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi in 2003. She followed it up with another lead role in Kal: Yesterday and Tomorrow. Her performances received wide acclaim from critics and audiences, and she got herself a whole new legion of fans. Those very fans were heartbroken when she took a break of a few years to concentrate on her marriage. She came back with stellar performances in Sorry Bhai and Yeh Saali Zindagi. However, Chitrangda didn't want to restrict herself to offbeat cinema and signed Desi Boyz. Her character of a sexy professor was totally different from the ones she had played till then. Fans and critics loved her and she proved she can carry off a variety of roles.

Chitrangda has a lot to look forward to in the coming year. Joker, which has her as an item girl for the first time, will release this August. She is also filming I Me Aur Main where she is cast opposite John Abraham. We are sure this year will bring her as much success in commercial films as she has got in offbeat ones.
