Hannah Smith - My Mirror

Description
Who’s the fairest of them all?
‘As you see,
It’s the lady standing in front of me,
Her eyes sparkling like the deep sea.’
Mirror, mirror on the wall,
Who do you really see standing in the hall?
As you see,
This lady cannot be me.
Look inside and really see,
For I am not who you want me to be.
Mirror, mirror on the wall,
You are not fair at all.
First impressions without a second glance.
How is this girl the fairest when she’s in a trance?
Her eyes aren’t sparkling jewels,
You need to start playing by the rules.
Broken mirror on the wall,
Too bad you don’t see me at all.
