gentle drops fall to the ground
and hit the dirt with a pattering sound.
The clouds gather and cover the sun
the summer rains have just begun.

rain drops fill and drench the earth
and celebrate plant lifes birth.
then the drops slow and the sky clears
and a colorful rainbow slowly appears

I love the rain, the cold wet streams
that rip open the clouds right at the seems
when the clouds gather over and i feel raindrops
to me it's like time just stops...
