Hannah Anderson - Hidden Messages

The blood drips down
Staining my sleeve
But I don’t care, it doesn’t matter
Nothing does, not the pain that won’t leave
Nor the sick emptiness
That is controlling my every move
The blood seems an unreadable message
Showing the world I have something to prove
But I don’t know what I want to say
Or how to make them care
They turn their backs and look away
Pretending nothings there
They deny that we’ve got problems
They say it’s just a phase
Something we’ll get over soon
I can hear them thru the daze
Now my mind is getting blurry
I can’t tell right from wrong
J don’t know what my blood is saying
I’ve forgotten, I’ve waited far too long
Now I can’t turn back
I’ve gone in way too deep
I’m sinking faster than I should
I guess what we sow is what we reap
