Hanks Says 'The Post' Is Relevant Today

Steven Spielberg has new movie out.
“The Post” tells the story of the battle The Washington Post went through to publish 'The Pentagon Papers.'
The film stars Tom Hanks and Meryl Streep. Hanks says the film is just as relevant today as it was in 1971.
Hanks told Reuters “I think it’s a very good patriotic movie about ‘what is the state of America?'"
Spielberg has said he rushed to film and release the movie within a year because the parallels between 1971 and 2017 were “terrifyingly similar.”
