Hanging up on ‘Raja’

A multi crore scam carried out in 2007. Today, five years later, former Telecom Minister A Raja, former Telecom Secretary Sidharth Behura, and Raja's PA RK Chandolia, have been arrested by the CBI. They’re currently being questioned at the CBI headquarters, with Raja's doctor in close attendance outside the interrogation room. The political fallout is on expected lines. The opposition maintains this would make their demand for a JPC into other aspects of the scam even stronger. The DMK meanwhile seems to have hung A Raja out to dry.
