Hang Drum Amazigh - Inouraz

Music by the Amazigh musical group Inouraz.

Inouraz, whose name means "hope" in amazigh, is a moroccan amazigh music group that formed in 2006. Composed of 6 members led by Khalid El Berkaoui, they sing amazigh spiritual music and constantly create new sounds. The group consists of Karima Boutadout who is a singer, Khalid El Berkaoui who is a percussionist, Badr El Yatribi who is a saxophonist, Mustapha Amal and El Hassan Boumlik who play the ribab and the loutar (traditional instruments). Omar Akhatar is on bass guitar.

These musicians have tuned their Ribab, Loutar and Guembri to give free rein to their creativity. They have appropriated an amazigh musical heritage frozen in ancestral codes, notably Raïss singing and Ahwach music. They have crossed borders to explore new territories and unexpected musical heritages.
