Handles are an acoustic, folk pop duo based in Mount Gambier/Cairns who perform acoustic originals, covers and classics. Luke Hanlon and Andrew Martin are both students at the James Morrison Academy of Music and are using their knowledge from this to create original music.
In Handles music they incorporate the subtle sounds of flugelhorn and earthy tones of the trumpet.
They have been gigging for the past few months and have had an outstanding response to their music.
These two guys have a residency at Sorrento's Cafe (Mount Gambier) on Friday nights and Metro Bakery and Café on Saturday nights. They also perform in Cafe's, Bistro's and Clubs frequently.
A couple of their originals are available to be downloaded on Triple J Unearthed and six of their originals are available to be listened to on Sound cloud. Prepare to be “Handl-ised”.
