Hamas Warns Gilad Schalit Will Become The Second Ron Arad

A spokesman of the Hamas military wing warned Tuesday night that IDF soldier Gilad Schalit will become a second Ron Arad if the stalemate on discussions regarding his release continues. His warnings come a day after Israel announced the release of 200 Palestinian security prisoners incarcerated in Israel as a goodwill gesture to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas. Among the Palestinian detainees are prisoners with blood on their hands who were involved in terror attacks that killed Israelis. Noam Schalit called on the government to act to secure his son's release before the prisoners are set free.08/20/08
