Description
As you lie here next to me
and I listen to you breathe
I can't help but think 'Am I really free? '
Does love hold you back
Does love keep you trapped
When you look into my eyes what do you see
Can you see the pain that you have caused me
Can you see the tears that I have cried
Can you see that deep down I have slowly died
When you kiss my lips what do you feel
Is the love you have for me truly real
Is the bond we had really still there
Somehow I'm beginning to think love isn't fair
When I look at you I get weak in the knees
Did you know that for you I'd swim all of the seas
For you I would retrieve the moon
I hope you realize this really soon
I love you
I know you love me too
Please don't ever hurt me
I guess I'll just have to wait and see
