Haley Akin - If Only I Could Cry

When little they flowed over freely
And were so hard then to stop
But now they stifle before starting
I can't even manage a drop

Not truly showing how I am feeling
Nothing coming even when I try
With an overabundance of emotions
These eyes they still remain dry

Weeping tears, I could try to move on
Having room for a brand new thought
But they dry too quick before falling
For a reason I have not been taught

If only I could get it all out
Cleansing my soul then as they poured
I would cry through each day and all night
For the ones I have missed and adored
