Gunned down in Kashmir

STORY: Army soldier, Tariq Khan Pathan, gunned down two women in Poonch district of India's northern Jammu and Kashmir state on Wednesday , after he suspected his wife of an illicit relationship. One of the deceased women was the mother of his wife's alleged lover.

Pathan set the house on fire, before he was detained by police officials. He fired at the two women using his service rifle.

Two women were killed and two others were injured in the fierce gun battle.

He will face criminal charges.
