Gunman Opens Fire Inside Bronx Hospital

One woman was killed and six other people were wounded</a> when a gunman opened fire inside a hospital in the Bronx, New York, on Friday, June 30.

According to New York police</a>, the suspect died at the scene in the Bronx-Lebanon hospital after shooting himself.

In a press conference, New York Mayor Bill de Blasio said the woman who was killed was a doctor and that the shooter had been a former employee at the hospital. Unconfirmed local reports</a> said that the shooter was wearing a doctor’s coat.
