We walk together under a beautiful day.
I am thinking of you and only you.
How the sun lightens up your face.
My eyes, they are a distant blue.

The wind cannot be still beneath the trees.
I lose my breath and cannot speak.
Your hair is being tossed like angry seas.
It feels good to be back on Pleasant Street.

I can feel you close to my beating heart.
Can you tell me one more time that you love me?
This time our hands are not so far apart.
There is magic in the air we can both see.

You move so graceful beyond my eyes.
I can smell your perfume like summer flowers.
Are you counting the minutes as they fly?
Can you help capture these few fleeting hours?

She is proud to know that I am smiling today.
You're the one I write about in every love song.
I follow behind her as we slowly turn and walk away.
Together we are moving on, moving on, moving on.
