I wasn't asking for much
When I wanted you to love me
To want to be my mom, please

I wasn't asking to much
When I wanted to be noticed
For him to notice me

Maybe I asked too much of you
When I mentioned that I loved you
and I couldn't go a day without you

Did I ask to much of you?
When I wanted your support
And to not break my hopes apart?

Is it to much
To want to live this fairy tale?
To want it to be real?

It is never to much
To want someone to care
For someone to be there

But maybe because it's me
And I abandoned simplicity
That it is to much for me.
