GST: The Final Structure
Description
GST race is entering the last lap! The designated council on Thursday reached an all-important deal on a five-slab tax rate structure, giving hopes that the April 2017 deadline could well be met. FM Arun Jaitley, who chaired the meeting, said that there will be zero tax on essential items which constitute nearly 50 percent of the consumer price index basket. Here's a report.
