Grieve 'not honest enough' with constituents
Description
Prominent pro-Remain Conservative MP Dominic Grieve has suffered a vote of no confidence by his local Conservative Party. The opposition in the Beaconsfield constituency to Mr Grieve is reported to have been organised by Jon Conway, a former Ukip candidate who stood against him in the 2017 general election. Mr Conway said the former attorney general had "never really believed" in Brexit, and “had no confidence in himself to tell the voters of Beaconsfield how he truly felt". Report by Jonesia.
