Gregory Roberts - Drinking Game

hey everybody lets play the drinking game
to see how many drinks makes your pain go away
one, maybe two, maybe three, maybe four
now your caught earling outside your bathroom door

oops that didnt work cause the pain is still there
now all you can do is look at the celing and stare
wondering how....and sometimes why
the feeling you feel inside tends to make you cry

so hey everybody lets play the drinking game
to drink so much that you just dont feel the same
you pound and pound and pound and pound
till you hit a soft pillow and realize its the ground

screaming out loud why do i feel this way?
why oh why wont the pain go away?
you stand to your feet and a tear hits your toe
your brain cant tell your legs which way to go

you stumble and wobble and your words get all slured
shouting and crying out obsinites that you never learned
so hey everybody lets play the drinking game
to let everybody know what might be your pain

cause although you may feel different, your pain is still the same
so tell me now, will you play the drinking game....with me?
