Greg Up!

Hi, here am i, Ana from Brazil and i want to tell you a happy history about
cats and love. In 2011, i was in Goiás visiting my friend Delcidério. It
was october 23rd and we were walking down the streets, taking nice pictures
of the architecture of the city at night and testing a borrowed camera who
doesn't like us at all. We were having so much fun, and i think that was
exactly for that reason we weren't passing by the usual way to get back to
the hotel. Suddenly, in an unusually busy street - Goiás is a very small
town and used to be empty by that hour - with cars moving everywhere i heard
a tiny little sound, a low "meow" and we Instantly stopped to find where this
sound came from. And that was how we found Greg! Gosh it scared me so much to
see that little piece of angel - he must be a month older - alone, innocently
crossing the street, meowing in our direction! So little, so cute and so
brave! We adopted him at once! But i had to go back to São Paulo short after
that, and know about what happened to Greg by Delcidério, that become the
most beautiful "father" i ever seen! Greg received this name by the slighty
twisted leg he got at that time. It remind us of our favorite Tv Series:
House MD. So, instead of calling him simply "House", we thought that "Greg"
was a better choice. Taking care alone of little Greg at first was painfull
for my friend Delcidério, cause, as a cat that came from streets and soooo
young, he was sick and we love him so much to see him suffer. But, with
incredible tenderness he dealt so well with that little angel that today
people can hardly believe Greg was very sick by the beggining of his life.
Anyway, i'm here cause i want to share with you a little video that was made
by my friend and devoted cat father, showing how great is greg's health and
happiness today! In a world so brutalized by violence and frivolity, is
delicious to me to see how a man can change his life by taking care of a
"little piece of angel", with a slightly twisted leg. Ah, by the way: yes! We
love Elvis, and my friend Delcidério wrote and sang the lyric of "Greg up!"
using a "karaoke" of an Elvis song called "Kissin' Cousins"! And Yes! Greg
thinks himself as a Parrot!!!! But let his father tells you about it on that
video. Hope you like it, as much as he loved to make this video!
