Green Leaf - E-motion

Distracted by notion we tend to forget about the inner motion.
We seize it! Abduct it! Regard it as owned.
Try to bottle it up.Preserve it, contain it,
Then sell it in portions.

We make our purchase and open the flusk.
We strangle its neck until it runs dry,
And then we forget, and drown in the drunkness.

The next day we wake, the same as we were.
The stinch and the flusk are clues of the rust,
Coroding free will and creativitie’s lust.

Like a cub fallen pray,
Our self is now slain.
The bottle, now empty, we go and refill,
With dreams and new thrills,
Just replicas still
