About Climate change

It is extremely urgent to get out of the CO2 cycle. We humans no longer have time to wait. Because if we wait any longer, the atmosphere will heat up even more due to the increased CO₂ concentration, leading to increased crop failures and extreme weather. Friends who are reading this, please get out of the CO₂ cycle. By that I mean either switch to an electric car or use alternative modes of transport such as trains, bicycles or walking.

Personal background
Since my childhood, driving has never been an option. I never thought about getting a driving licence and buy a car because I couldn't stand the smell of petrol fumes and find road noise generally unbearable. For two decades, I have only travelled by bicycle. Before that, I was dependent on the bus, which I never liked because it was expensive and usually made me dizzy and sick. When I'm not cycling, I usually travel by train. It doesn't emit petrol and is quieter than many cars.

Conclusion: I never considered purchasing a car because I appreciate nature and animals and do not want animals to be run over or to experience fear of death on the roads. Fresh air is important to me, and I have often contemplated leaving Austria because Austrians enjoy travelling by car and do not value nature as much as their status symbols and mobility.
