Watch the unusual moment a grass cricket becomes the “pilot” of a remote-controlled Spitfire plane.
Dominick Valadez, from Schwarzenbach, Germany, filmed the clip of the tiny insect placed into the pilot’s seat before the RC plane takes off.
The Spitfire replica soars into the air, looping gracefully around the field as its unexpected co-pilot holds steady.
After a smooth flight, the plane touches down safely, and the cricket is released from the cockpit back onto the ground.
The light-hearted stunt has amused viewers online, gathering over 5.8 million views on TikTok.
One commenter joked: ‘His friends is not going to believe him.’
Another added: ‘That cricket is pulling 15Gs.’
