GRANT FRASER - Sock hole

Appeal to the big hole
in my sock,

it is not enough!

to see so much
of you,
hidden by a walking
shoe,

through all moments,

inner poverty has now
spoken,

climbed up
the ladders
of your self same
stockings,

we can hide it!

no need to show
what you might never
know,

that most of us
know that the rough
exists,

being caught out
can be tough though,

and that this extends
further up that hole
where all beings equip,

if not to hide!
