I leave this life at break of day
For a future that is bleak
No given pre-direction
Or familiar face to meet

I see only emptiness before me
And loneliness behind
An ache that beats within my breast
And confusion in my mind

No shackles tied about me
No bonds of steel or rope
A frame thats weak and weary
With only pockets full of hope

For life is but a stepping stone
A passage way in time
To a place of dreams and harmony
Where the sun forever shines.
