Govt committed to institutional reforms, says PM

The government is committed to continuing the institutional reform agenda by implementing changes to ensure transparency and efficiency in financial management and public administration, said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim at the Prime Minister's Department gathering on Monday (March 3).

Citing examples of reforms undertaken by the Finance Ministry, which he also heads, Anwar said it had introduced the Public Finance and Fiscal Responsibility Act 2023, mandating strict fiscal discipline.
