Govt allocated RM2.3bil for airport development projects
Description
The government has earmarked RM2.3bil under Budget 2026 to upgrade airports in Penang, Sarawak and Sabah.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said the funds will go toward enhancing the Penang, Kota Kinabalu, Tawau, and Miri airports, with all projects expected to be completed by 2028.
