Gothic Utility Kilt with Silver Chains.
Today, we’re making a stylish and bold kilt, the Modern Gothic Utility Kilt with Silver Chains.
Let’s show you how it’s made, step by step. Before starting the manufacturing, we need basic items like black cotton fabric, thread, silver chains, D-rings, leather straps, snap buttons, buckles, a sewing machine, scissors, and measuring tape.
First, we take black cotton fabric and cut it to the customer’s size, waist, and length.
Then we cut the front part of the kilt, called the apron. We cut extra fabric to make pleats for both sides. Each pleat is folded and stitched carefully, then sewn across the top to keep them in place. Then we sew the pleated panels, the front apron, and the back together.
We also add the waistband to hold everything nicely. Now it's time to add the cool features; we stitch on leather straps and metal D-rings along the sides. Next, we attach silver chains to the D-rings. We make belt loops and sew them on the waistband. Then we attach snap buttons to the waist and pockets. At the end, we press the kilt to make it look sharp and clean. We check every detail to make sure it’s perfect.
