Google Shuts Down Scammers Impersonating E-ZPass, USPS
Description
Google shut down the “Smishing Triad” cybercriminal group within 24 hours of filing a lawsuit. The group targeted over 1 million victims across 120+ countries with phishing texts mimicking brands to steal financial data. Google said the Lighthouse kit generated more than 100 fake message templates.
