Google receives patent for camera system mounted on baseball cap
6 Views • Mar 03, 2017
Description
The wearable camera system can be mounted on the brim of a baseball cap. It is equipped with built-in microphone and can connect to the wearer’s mobile device via an app. The wearer can capture photos and videos and upload the footage directly to social media platforms.
The system uses bone conduction to allow the wearer to listen to audio. Bone conduction converts sound waves into vibrations that can be received directly by the cochlea.
Google’s earlier creation, Google Glasses, is also equipped with camera system, and come with a price tag of $1,500. It is not yet clear how much the patented baseball cap camera system would be priced.
