Google AI Boosts Healthcare

Mayo Clinic uses a new service called Enterprise Search on Generative AI App Builder, which allows medical professionals to access patient information across different formats and locations quickly. This technology enables healthcare workers to interpret data such as medical history, imaging records, genomics, and labs more efficiently. Google aims to promote the use of generative AI in the medical system and views Mayo Clinic as a critical partner in bringing this transformative technology to healthcare. The partnership between Google Cloud and Mayo Clinic began in 2019 and is being expanded to include collaborative work on AI applications in healthcare. The new service is designed with privacy in mind and is compliant with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
