Gold - finally losing its lustre?

As fears of financial collapse ease and equities rally, gold is falling out of favour - for now at least. Currently the yellow metal is trading at about $1,600, down significantly from highs set more than a year ago. Long View columnist John Authers asks the FT's commodities correspondent Jack Farchy if now is the time of buy or whether gold's run is finally over.
