Going to school in Meghalaya

A mother wipes off the dirt from the child's nose as she gets ready for school. These Children go walking down the footpaths up and down daily to get to school. Many schools do not have a van or school bus to carry these children, but they carry their smile all day long.

Once there, they enjoy playing, singing, dancing, giggling and so on like any another child.

When they enter the classroom, they move in with a very disciplinary manners, putting their hand in the back.
