Glenn Grabbe - Lonely Days

I cannot relate this pain in me.
Words won't express my misery.
Poetry seems a useless art
To forge the image of a broken heart.
This sorrow in me won't go away.
My loneliness lasts another day.
All I can do is hope for the best,
With hope eternal that I'll be blest.
With all my soul my prayers implore
That God will give me joy restored.
Speak now Lord, your comfort send.
Let me know my trial's end.
