Glen Powell on Working With Edgar Wright on 'The Running Man'

In this video, Glen Powell opens up about the intense training advice he got from Tom Cruise and the filmmaking lessons he learned from director Edgar Wright while shooting his new movie, 'The Running Man.' Powell also shares why working with Edgar Wright has been a career dream come true. “He’s been on my vision board forever,” Powell admits, calling the shoot “film school with the greatest film professor.” The actor reveals that Wright had him wear an earbud to hit musical cues mid-stunt and minimized stunt doubles to let Powell take the hits himself. “If I’m taking a shot to the face, please let them know it’s me,” he laughs. After years in the business, Powell says making 'The Running Man' has reignited his love for filmmaking: “I’ve been doing this job since I was ten years old, and it feels like I just started.”
