hugging the edge of disaster
locks frozen in the pearly dawn
swirling in a frigid gust of wind
the misty air kissing your rosy-red cheeks
arms stretched majestically outward
heart pounding a mantra tone
Eden laid out before you
a dying earth behind you
perched at the crossroads of life
ready to begin anew
but, before you leap from
atop your mighty rock
before you soar among the rolling clouds
