I try to keep bright
but I'm feeling so low
my Trudy's been ill Jill
didn't you know
I thought I might lose her
it's been touch and go
but the bab's kept us going
we have to you know

So there in the shop
we say our goodbyes
we can't say how we feel
but the tears in our eyes
mean more than mere words
two mums holding on
and strangers pass by
wondering whats going on
just life
