Giant rat stops traffic in Chicago

An amusing video has emerged online showing a giant rat stopping traffic when it crossed a road in the city of Chicago, USA late last month.

Cars can be seen slowing down and driving around the rodent as it ambles nonchalantly across four lanes of traffic.
