The Giant Flying Turtles hail from Brooklyn, New York, and consist of Calvin S. Bennett (vocals, upright and fretless 6-string bass, cello, acoustic & electric 6, 12 string & nashville strung guitars) and Johnny Young (vocals, piano, keyboards, drums, percussion, acoustic and electric guitars).

Don't let their boyish good looks fool you, these rockers come from the schoolings of legendary acs like Pink Floyd, Yes, John Coltrane, Miles Davis, and The Beatles.

The band has an EP set to be released this July, and will be frequenting Otto's Shrunken Head over the next few weeks.
