Ghost Dad Movie (1990)

Elliot Hopper is a widower with three children trying to pull his family out of the red after his wife's illness and untimely death. Just before he closes the big deal that could save his family, Elliot gets into a cab that that crashes into a river. Elliot dies, but he is sent back so that he can finish the deal and make sure that his children are taken care of.
