gershon hepner - first ladies
5 Views • Jun 13, 2014
Description
seventy thousand years ago,
when the louse, a pesky pest,
clung to clothes that made a beau
of Adam, and of Eve, a horse––
before this they both frolicked naked:
garments helped them both, of course,
to hide, before Eve learned to fake it,
unlike the furs that they received
from God the Furrier as cover,
when Adam delved and Eve believed
in Adam, though a lousy lover.
First ladies always need to lie
since Eve and sadly Adam fell;
while disbelief makes others sigh
first ladies hardly ever tell.
