Between darkness and dreams
and illusion of light
there is only what seems
out of touch, out of sight.

In the dreams in the dark
and the light of illusion
what seems is the spark
that ignites our confusion.

Since what is apparent
may be misperceived
false or aberrant,
what should we believe?

Should we then abandon
the dreamworld as fake,
ignoring as random
brainwaves in its wake?

Dreams lie between
the illusion ignited
by sparks only seen
when the blind become sighted.
