Germany bans SA flights

At least five countries and airlines, including Germany and Turkey, have banned flights from South Africa over the discovery of a new variant of the coronavirus. This is a troubling development as many in Germany look at South Africa in the summer as a prime vacation destination and bring in much needed currency.
