Georgia-Cop-Doesn't-Understand-Basic-Geograph

Pulled over in rural Georgia. Our crime? Driving with DC license plates, which, according to this cop, can't possibly exist. Unfortunately I only caught the last bit of our exchange, where you can tell the cop is starting to doubt himself. My husband is *totally* playing it dumb so as not to upset the cop (although he can't help but throw out the fact that he just graduated from law school). Meanwhile I'm trying to avoid being caught recording, hence the riveting footage of our knees. After we stopped filming, the officer spent 10 minutes in his car, presumably having figured out his mistake and trying to come up with something else to cite us for. Eventually he returned, noted that our registration was expired (it wasn't--we cleared that up), and sent us on our way. Zero mention of the whole DC thing.
