Sometimes I’m very wide
Sometimes I’m very small,
Other times I’ve faded
And can’t be seen at all.

You’ll find me on a hill,
You’ll find me in a vale,
And sometimes I am clear,
But sometimes very pale.

Although I do not move
You’ll see me every where,
Stick with me dear walker
And I will get you there.

And when at last you’re thinking
You’ve walked a bit too far,
And need to change your heading
To where you left your car.

Turn around dear walker
So I can take you back,
I was made for walkers
For I’m a walking track
