I uh, I uh, I finish the line towards the middle
In the sloughs of mediocrity
Dotting and doting Is or “eyes” as saying would have it
I’ve abandoned the cosmic theory of everything
Arriving in time for the fall catalog
Of various rites and rituals
I see Nagual as a good possibility
Explaining from a near dead language
The Toltec methods of centering consciousness
I like “undoing the world”.......breaking the limits and boundaries
Which represent the fences of assumption
I want to deconstruct poetry and its cleverness
Launch a spurious assault while pea- cocking in a pedantic display
splash painting symbolically while nudes sprawl on red velvet sofas
or I wrestle with these nudes in a quagmire of driller’s mud
while the studio burns to embers around us
I want to convey the mysterious and the glorious like Renoir
Or Modigliani’s Jean but the pallet is strained
By things already mentioned or scribbled
No one has written the poetry
I strain to write
This is the first and last time it will be.
Germinating like bean sprouts in wet cotton between panes of glass
Grasping the sides of glass with nacent feet and climbing somewhere
up which is away from the lie of gravity
Ideas coiling and rising
Toadstools of thought
Fungus like eruptions from dead logs
Rite without celebration
A ritual of conformity
If your going to be mediocre be good at it
This is rigorous self indulgence
What do I feel……..mortal
Confusion, boredom, akward
Why continue with this drivel
To see where it will end
To create something immortal in a virtual reality
And have someone read and validate
my neurosis
