Miss Glory, a lady from Niger
Ate radioactive braunschweiger.
We all made a bet
On how much she did get.
And we checked with a counter by Geiger.

The machine wouldn’t stop its clicking.
It just kept on a’snicking
She got very pale
Needle off of the scale.
But it just continued its ticking.

And although we tried
She up and died
Or, as they say
She passed away.
Guess she was really fried.

So we never found out
Whose bet was best
‘Cause the counter blew up
And ruined the test.
And that was the end of young Miss Glory
And also the end of my sad story.
