George Hunter - Lost

There was a young gal from Nome
Who couldn't find her way home.
—Had a few shots at a bar
—So she couldn't be far
But her ass ended up in Rome.

The rest of her never was found
Tho we certainly looked all around.
—We looked here and there
—Found not a hide nor a hair.
This mystery all did confound.

Perhaps she got lost in the snow
Not knowing which way to go.
—Or maybe a blizzard
—Froze up her gizzard.
It's a thing that we'll never know.
