Geoffrey Sterkel - Love

If I cut my hand off
will it cease to yearn for yours?
And if I rip out my broken heart,
will this horrible thing that they call love
leak out with my blood?
And if I smash my face against the wall,
spilling my brains on the floor of the hall,
and keep bashing my head until I am dead,
will these terrible thoughts that have forever tormented me die too?
